The whole team is so proud to announce that Age of Empires IV is now available on Steam. The day is upon us, the sun has risen on a new Age. :) enjoy.Emma Bridle, Director of Customer Voice, World’s Edge Do we have enough workers? give businesses incentives (in AoE, upgrades) to give the workers more power to do their work faster and better. Do we have enough people to fight our enemies? draft 'em. A governor or a mayor or heck a president or dictator would have to do the same thing. It's the campaigns and the scenarios where you can't go above 50 and that's well, sorta sucky BUT, I see the flip side to it as managing the population is like managing a resource. if you do a single player custom game and don't choose a scenario but choose a large map or another size map (I forget all the sizes involved) you can choose your population limit. So, to be straight, no way, nadda, nothing, can't increase the population limit unless you're playing an on line game and that takes an actual layer on line even if you set it up for a computer as the opposition? I challenge myself from easy to moderate, etc from time to time but mostly pass the time with easy so I can play a little bit of "sim city" along with AOE at the same time. I'm like "259" above, build up a GOOD economy (and I'm good at that) and then, build up a good Army and Navy and just rip the DICKENS outta the computer AI when I'm ready. then, to be straight, in AOE DE, there isn't a way to increase the population limit in a single player game that you set up to play the computer.
